Bowen Therapy
Bowen Therapy is a gentle form of body work involving subtle moves performed over muscles and connective tissue. These powerful moves send messages deep into the body to access healing and relieve aches and pains. Bowen aids in the body experiencing deep relaxation. Bowen is not intrusive and the client can be fully dressed if they prefer.
Joan‘s enthusiasm and respect for this very effective area of body work has led her to continue with advance studies in Bowen Therapy. She wants to continue discovering the wonders of Bowen Therapy to offer the best to her clients.
Psychology/Counselling
Joan has worked as a psychologist since 1995. She has worked with people of all ages in helping them find the inner strength and clarity to create a happier and more peaceful life. As well as adults, Joan has worked extensively with children and adolescents. Joan has also had significant experience working with parents in helping them build on their parenting skills.
Meditation
More and more people are becoming interested in meditation to relieve stress in their lives. Meditation has been scientifically proven to distress the body which is one of the reasons doctors suggest meditation to patients who have ongoing health struggles. Joan has been meditating for many years and knows its daily rewards. She has also been a meditation teacher for a number of years.
Joan helps you learn the benefits of meditation and shows you how to set up a meditation practice at home. Come on your own or bring a friend or two to join you and learn together.
